What Makes Power Soap Different
Most car wash soaps are either too harsh (they strip your wax or coating) or too weak (they just move dirt around). Power Soap is pH-balanced so it is safe on ceramic coatings, waxes, and paint sealants — while still producing enough foam to lift and trap contaminants before they scratch your paint.
The ultra-foaming formula creates a thick lubricating layer between your wash mitt and the paint. That lubrication is everything. It is what separates a wash that adds swirl marks from one that leaves your paint looking better than when you started.
The Two-Bucket Method
Fill one bucket with your Power Soap solution (a few capfuls per gallon is plenty). Fill a second bucket with plain rinse water. After each panel, rinse your mitt in the clean bucket before reloading with soap. This keeps dirt out of your soap bucket and off your paint.
The Perfect Wash Routine
- Rinse the whole car to knock off loose dirt
- Mix Power Soap in your wash bucket (2-3 oz per gallon)
- Wash top to bottom, one panel at a time
- Rinse mitt between panels
- Final rinse and dry with Dark Horse Drying Towel
- Optional: finish with Speed Coat for ceramic protection
How Often Should You Wash?
Daily drivers: every 1-2 weeks. Bird droppings and tree sap should be removed immediately — the acids can etch your paint within hours in hot weather.
